RealOrrin and Riva Taylor Launch Party in Cryptovoxels
Mintbase is very excited to announce the collaboration with two highly talented artists, the English singer/songwriter Riva Taylor and a cyborg from the future called Orrin.
Both very different to each other; however, they share the same passion for innovation and are early adopters of blockchain technology, more specifically, NFTs.
Orrin is a cyborg with collective consciousness sent by a higher civilization to warn humans about the incoming apocalypse. Orrin is choosing Mintbase and NEAR to deliver this message using a series of NFTs combined with the release of the cyborg’s new album, MUTANT.
This sci-fi narrative has become central to the “borg” identity and can be seen in the afro-futuristic visuals accompanying the album. Since appearing on an episode on the Dr Phil Show, millions have discovered Orrin through a series of viral clips. He is followed by 36.1K fans who are eagerly awaiting his cyborg origin story, MUTANT. The album will deliver on that curiosity with a 30-minute runtime produced by MUTANT JOE.
Riva released her album TWH.2, which is centred around women empowerment. And her latest song, Woman, has already over 153,000 plays on YouTube. The track is themed around defiance, female strength and how vulnerable it can be navigating womanhood. The beautiful music video accompanying the song includes females telling stories that Riva herself admires. Together with the album, she releases a series of NFTs on the new Mintbase.io platform.
Both artists decided to launch with Mintbase on NEAR Protocol because it is possible to track royalties forever and split revenues with Mintbase. In addition, NEAR is a climate-neutral chain thanks to its proof of stake consensus algorithm and collaboration with SouthPole to offset CO2 emissions.
